As an aspiring Supply Chain leader, the Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager will have responsibility for managing projects, driving continuous improvement and ensurng successful outcomes through strong stakeholder & risk management. The CI Manager will implement this by partnering with our Supply Chain leaders to manage CI initiatives within our distribution centre operations.
About the role:
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget; develop and implement standardised project management methodologies
- Create, generate and distribute regular project reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Control operational costs and ensure effective management of benefits
- Efficiently manage labour and equipment resources
- Actively participate in project discovery sessions and provide valuable input
- Oversee risk management and facilitate engagement with relevant sponsors and stakeholders
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and business teams to offer project management and change management support
- Develop and implement change management frameworks, transition plans and ensure a smooth project closure
- Effectively manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Identify and mitigate project risks to deliver stable and reliable solutions
- Foster a strong team culture that promotes continuous improvement and drives high performance
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with teams across all business functions within Myer
- Accurately capture stakeholder business requirements while defining project charters and scope
- Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external customers.
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain
- 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement framework
- Ability to manage complex continuous improvement projects, identifying areas for improvement and executing the plan
- Strong stakeholder relationship building skills to drive suitable outcomes
- Strong understanding of data management and data base administration
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to time manage multiple projects on time.
