Myer is currently looking for a conscientious Compliance & Reporting Coordinator (known as a Compliance & Reporting Officer in our organisation) to assist and fulfil its compliance and ethical sourcing reporting obligations.
About the Role:
- Prepare compliance reporting particularly in areas of advertising, privacy, data governance and ethical sourcing including modern slavery and social sustainability
- Support Myer’s ethical sourcing framework including modern slavery initiatives to ensure compliance and awareness of program, and determine the reporting strategy and format
- Provide compliance advice, updates and responses to compliance matters or queries
- Conduct human rights risk assessment and map Myer’s operations and supply chain
- Responsible for supply chain mapping, tracing and transparency
- Provide training to the business on ethical sourcing and compliance requirements
- Assist with lodgement of regulator or industry reporting across compliance and social sustainability
- Participate in special projects related to compliance, ethical sourcing and sustainability requirements and initiatives
- Document processes and procedures including reporting activities and workflows related to compliance, ethical sourcing and sustainability
- Provide support to the Compliance & Risk Manager and complete adhoc tasks as required
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Auditing and Assurance or similar/related fields, highly advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work and build rapport with a diverse stakeholder group
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Highly organised and strong time and project management skills would be valuable
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Proactive and willingness to learn, develop and upskill where required
