Myer is looking for a seasoned technology professional for a GM Technology – Infrastructure & Security Services role. As a member of the senior Technology leadership team, this new position will be accountable for leading both internal and external teams that deliver the following services across the Myer group:
- Infrastructure
- Networking
- Security
- Cloud Services
- Technology Service Management
- End user computing
- Technology Risk
About the role:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of Infrastructure, Networking and Cloud initiatives.
- Maintain and ongoing measurement robust and fit for purpose Cyber security postures, practices, and culture across the enterprise.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and incident response protocols.
- Evaluate, mitigate, and manage Technology Risk
- Manage Technology Change & Governance
- Maintain, lead, and develop high performing teams and effectively lead change.
- Lead and manage a diverse range of project and delivery resources (on / offshore).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Myer stakeholders through negotiating, clarifying requirements and gaining agreement to proposals and ideas.
- Develop and maintain prioritised initiative roadmaps.
- Define and manage technology project budgets including developing IT business cases and capex requests.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance management.
- Develop and execute a progressive technology strategy aligned with business goals.
- Develop, maintain, and mitigate technology risk across the enterprise.
- Champion innovation, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement.
About you:
- 10-15+ years in senior IT leadership roles, with a focus on Infrastructure, Networking, Cloud and Cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high performing teams and lead change.
- Significant leadership experience leading/delivering large and complex IT or digital portfolios, programs, or projects.
- Retail experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to tailor communications to meet the needs of a diverse audience from the Executive Leadership Team to the most junior IT team members.
- Highly proficient defining and managing technology project budgets.
- Experience in managing complex managed services agreement across a broad portfolio of technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Degree in Information Technology or related field is desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in Cyber Security
