MYER is looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee the end-to-end payroll process for our organisation, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things payroll—working closely with HR, Finance, and external providers to deliver seamless payroll services.

About the role:
- Manage and execute timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, superannuation, awards, and employment legislation.
- Maintain payroll records and reporting in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to support audits, reporting, and budgeting.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Respond to payroll-related queries and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
About you:
- Proven experience in payroll management, ideally in a mid-to-large sized organization.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (Chris21 & micrOpay) and Excel.
- In-depth understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- In-depth understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.
- Relevant qualifications in Payroll, Accounting, or HR
