As a Merchandise & Supply Chain Replenishment Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering the merchandise strategy by ensuring stock availability in-store to meet customer demand, as well as managing replenishment performance and optimising appropriate system capabilities to continually improve stock and sales performance.  You will action the National Distribution Centre (NDC) to Store stock flow strategy by monitoring stock levels and pick location performance in the NDC and maintain optimal flow of stock to stores.

 About The Role:

  • Work with the Merchandise & Supply Chain Demand Planner in order to implement strategies that will maximise the efficiency of Myer’s NDC.
  • Determine the optimal method of moving stock from NDC to Store – via RDF automation, allocation or manual ‘stock exit’ tool.
  • Replenishment planning, including but not limited to; system generated orders, supporting inventory levels and stock position, leading the setting of optimum replenishment parameters, and delivering smooth flow of stock from NDC to stores. Determining when to load replenishment parameters against NDC indent items, and when to de-active them.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to develop an understanding of Myer’s store replenishment , advertising and climatic needs and to build this into weekly NDC to Store replenishment activities.
  • Monitor and review intake / stock levels to minimise stockholding but maximise fulfilment opportunities and retain fresh, new merchandise flow in strategic fulfilment locations. Recommend actions to deal with non performing or ageing products.
  • Spend minimum 20% of time physically reviewing strategic fulfilment locations and develop actions in response to physical observations.

 About You:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in merchandise, online or retail equivalent
  • Strong Retail, financial and business acumen
  • Strong and analytical skills
  • Experience in planning, allocation or replenishment systems a bonus
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with other team members and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to pull data from multiple internal and external sources, consolidate, clean up and interrogate to deliver usable reports to assist the business with planning and monitoring of performance against agreed KPIs
  • Highly competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel to build reporting that supports key stakeholders with appropriate commentary and recommendations to improve.
  • Confident in engaging and working with a wide group of stakeholders in driving the right customer and commercial outcomes for Myer. Industry experience of working with / or a 3PL provider would be advantageous.
