Myer is looking for a GM Technology – Customer & Digital to Lead the Technology Customer & Digital Commerce team. You will lead the strategic direction and execution of our digital platforms, customer technology solutions, and innovation initiatives. While providing holistic Technology services to customers across: E-commerce, Loyalty, Marketing, Customer Service and Corp Affairs

About the role:
- Develop and execute a forward-thinking digital and technology strategy aligned with business goals.
- Maintain, lead, and develop high performing teams and effectively lead change.
- Lead and manage a diverse range of project and delivery resources.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Myer stakeholders through negotiating, clarifying requirements and gaining agreement to proposals and ideas.
- Develop and maintain prioritised initiative roadmaps.
- Define and manage technology project budgets including developing IT business cases and capex requests.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance management.
- Develop and execute a progressive technology strategy aligned with business goals.
- Champion innovation, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement.
About you:
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, within a customer-focused retail industry.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, customer experience platforms, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high performing teams and lead change.
- Extensive knowledge of Lean/Agile delivery methodologies and frameworks.
- Significant leadership experience leading IT PMOs, delivering large and complex IT or digital portfolios, programs, or projects.
- Retail experience is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications in Project Management fields highly desirable such as PMP, Scrum Master, Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise (SAFe), Professional Scrum Master, PRINCE2 Practitioner.
- Ability to tailor communications to meet the needs of a diverse audience from the Executive Leadership Team to the most junior IT team members.
- Highly proficient defining and managing technology project budgets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Solid understanding of relevant IT frameworks such as ITIL, and a wide variety of digital platforms (content management systems, digital experience management systems, CRM platforms, customer data and marketing technology platforms, advertising technology platforms, campaign platforms, e-commerce platforms, mobile app platforms, web development, infrastructure and hosting, cyber security).
- Strong understanding of UX and Human Centred Design methodologies.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or related field is desirable
