Myer is looking for an eCommerce Production Lead to act as a second-in-command to the eCommerce Production Manager and lead the Content Publishing Team. You will drive tactical execution and content production for the eCommerce channels, ensuring seamless content delivery, operational efficiencies and support for short-term digital initiatives that enhance the online customer experience.
About the role:
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end content production process, including brief creation, creative reviews, content build, scheduling, and timely removal of expired content to ensure the website reflects current and accurate information.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Content Publishing team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on quality and efficiency.
- Act as second-in-command (2IC) to the eComm Production Manager, providing support on key initiatives and stepping into the role as required.
- Act as a subject matter expert and primary user of the Content Management System (CMS), optimising its use to improve efficiency and content quality.
- Ensure all online content complies with brand, creative, and accessibility standards at each stage of production.
- Identify and troubleshoot content errors or issues, coordinating quickly with stakeholders to resolve them in line with escalation protocols.
- Coordinate and manage workflows between local and offshore teams to ensure seamless content production and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, IT, and external vendors to ensure smooth content production and website updates.
- Support the eComm Production Manager in managing larger scale production projects and system enhancements.
- Continuously review and optimise content production workflows and CMS functionality, identifying and implementing improvements to increase productivity and content quality.
- Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for content production processes.
- Monitor key performance metrics related to content production and team productivity, reporting insights and recommending actions for continuous improvement
About you:
- Previous experience in eCommerce, Marketing, Digital Content, ideally in the retail sector
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and mentoring teams. Proficient in Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Proven technical capabilities, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems and platforms
- Basic coding skills desirable
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, with the ability to confidently manage spreadsheets and support day-to-day operations

- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- A natural collaborator with the ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with stakeholders
- Flexibility in hours worked, with minimal weekend work required (Key Trade Events)
