Media Strategy & Partnerships Manager

MYER is looking for a Media Manager – Strategy and Partnerships to manage a best-in-class in-house media team and multi-channel campaigns at Myer. You will ensure that campaign and business targets are consistently met, as well as driving efficiency in operational processes to manage campaigns successfully at scale. 

About the role:

  • Full responsibility for all day-to-day operations of these marketing channels – strategy, planning, budget management, reporting, optimisation, and analysis.
  • Manage and refine ways of working between internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal delivery of campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with our media agency to plan key Myer campaigns throughout the season across all categories.
  • Enhance our first party data strategy and personalisation in paid media channels using Data Clean Room technology. Work closely with our Customer team to ensure alignment of campaigns.
  • Ensure Myer is at the forefront of new developments within Paid media, reporting back new insights to broader stakeholders as well as continually developing new test and learn frameworks.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, including key media partners, martech vendors and external agencies.
  • Lead a small but mighty team. Ensure the team are both motivated as well as continually learning and developing.
  • Identify new opportunities within paid media to keep Myer at the forefront of innovation within the retail and Australian market.

 

About you:

  • 4+ years’ experience working within paid media across all channels, with a strong digital background.
  • Experience with Liveramp, Data Clean Rooms and MMM will be highly beneficial. 
  • A strong understanding of the media landscape and the role media can play within broader marketing campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain media planning concepts and associated success metrics to key stakeholders without a media background.
  • Highly analytical and driven by data; always asking ‘why’ and looking to test and learn. Commercially-minded to drive the best results for Myer
  • Good problem-solving skills – able to think laterally and learn quickly to identify and fix issues as and when they arise
  • Highly organised with very strong attention to detail
  • Strong leader, with the ability to motivate and mobilise a team to be reactive to change.
  • Strong stakeholder management, both internally and externally – comfortable with communicating and navigating across a large and complex organisation
