Myer Group is seeking an experienced Process Analyst to play a key role in a high-impact Finance Transformation program. This is an exciting opportunity to support the redesign and optimisation of finance processes, enabling improved efficiency, standardisation, and scalability across the organisation.
You will be responsible for capturing, analysing, and documenting end-to-end finance processes. You will work closely with finance stakeholders, SMEs, and project teams to translate complex operational workflows into clear, standardised process maps that support transformation initiatives, system implementations, and continuous improvement.
- Initial 6-month contract
- Work with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.
- Gain exposure to modern finance processes, systems, and continuous improvement practices.
About the role:
Process Mapping & Documentation
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process walk-throughs with finance stakeholders to capture current-state processes.
- Develop accurate and detailed process maps using BPMN or agreed standards.
- Produce supporting documentation including SIPOCs, RACIs, work instructions, and decision trees.
- Clearly define roles, system interactions, handoffs, and decision points in all documentation.
Process Standards & Governance
- Maintain and apply consistent process documentation standards across the program.
- Ensure adherence to naming conventions, version control, and governance protocols.
- Support integration of process maps into enterprise repositories (e.g. Promapp or similar tools).
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Finance SMEs, project leads, and technical teams to validate process accuracy and identify improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate reviews and sign-offs of process documentation.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on effective process capture and documentation practices.
Process Library Management
- Maintain a central, accessible repository of finance process documentation.
- Manage version control, change tracking, and regular review cycles.
Project & Change Support
- Support delivery of transformation initiatives by mapping current and future-state finance processes.
- Provide visual artefacts to inform solution design, training materials, and change impact assessments.
- Contribute to broader transformation outcomes including standardisation, automation, and compliance uplift.
About You
- 2–4 years’ experience in process mapping, business analysis, or documentation-focused roles.
- Proven experience working in finance functions or finance transformation projects (highly desirable).
- Strong proficiency with process mapping tools such as Visio, Signavio, Lucidchart, ARIS, or Promapp.
- Solid understanding of BPMN or other process modelling standards.
- Exceptional ability to simplify and visualise complex information.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced project environments with competing priorities.
