Join the Myer Product Team as a Design Assistant and play a hands-on role in bringing Myer Exclusive Brands to life. Working alongside experienced Designers, you'll gain exposure to the end-to-end design process while building the skills, confidence and experience to grow your career in fashion design.

About the Role
- Support trend, colour, fabric and print research that helps shape future collections.
- Bring ideas to life through CADs, artwork and design packs across a range of exciting product categories.
- Support the design journey from concept through to final product, gaining exposure to the full product lifecycle.
- Coordinate samples, fabrics, trims and approvals, helping bring great product to market.
- Assist with fit sessions, line reviews and seasonal presentations while learning from experienced Designers.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Planning, QA and Design teams to deliver exceptional customer-focused product.
- Build your skills, creativity and commercial understanding as you develop your pathway towards a Designer career.
About You
- Passionate about fashion, trends and product.
- Relevant experience in fashion design, product development or apparel, gained through work, internships or study, is highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design, Textiles or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills, with working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign.
- Confident creating CADs, artwork and design documentation with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, colour and print development.
- Highly organised, collaborative and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
