The Profit Protection team has an exciting Permanent opportunity for an experienced and dedicated individual to join the team, known in the business as Profit Protection Business Partner. Reporting to the National Profit Protection Manager, this role is responsible for implementing strategies to manage shrinkage, physical security, external and internal criminality and security exposures across our network of Distribution Centres, Online Fulfilment Centre and Supply Chain.

 

About the role:

  • Be a key conduit between Supply Chain, Distribution Centres, Profit Protection, Merchandise and other key functions 
  • Implement and manage policies, procedures, standards to control shrinkage and promote best practise
  • To coach and mentor team members to ensure ongoing development and achievement of team and company goals
  • Conduct Investigations into real or potential losses and/or breaches of Myer policy that may lead to loss by internal and external threats
  • Provide information to assist in identifying shrinkage trends and operational risk exposures
  • Provide leadership and support to Profit Protection and shrinkage management tactics

 

About you:

  • Experience in Profit Protection and in a retail Investigations role is beneficial
  • Knowledge of business systems and an understanding of retail and supply chain processes
  • Demonstrated competency in retail or supply chain management and/or Profit Protection leadership
  • Professional experience with a combination of fraud or loss prevention investigations, retail operations and internal audit experience
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels including external stakeholders and relevant authorities
  • Strong team focus with a desire to share knowledge
