Myer is currently looking for an Events Manager to be responsible for producing a program of Myer’s event experiences, bringing Brand Partner experiences into Myer in support of executing Myer’s Events & Partnerships strategy, with a focus on the beauty category.
About the Role:
- In consultation with the marketing area leads proactively engage with Myer’s brand partners to bring innovative experiences into Myer.
- Drive revenue outcomes amongst Myer’s brand partners through event & venue offering
- Ensure the team and key stakeholders have a thorough understanding of both the Myer brand guidelines
- Deliver end to end of designated Brand Partner event programs including proposal development, internal and external stakeholder management, event marketing plan, partnership deliverables, Myer one exclusivity, amplification and coverage with PR and social teams, post event reporting
- Connect with cross functional teams to support the delivery of event production processes & policies
- Manage portfolio of Myer’s event production suppliers, agencies & stakeholders
About You:
- Minimum 3+ years experience in similar event management, sales or partnerships role
- Exceptional verbal, written, communication, presentation skills and stakeholder engagement.
- Solutions focused with the ability to quickly problem solve.
- Client focused and passionate about delivering high quality solutions and services that exceed expectations.
- Highly organised and keen attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Collaborative team player who is solutions focused.
- Financial acumen and exposure including experience in budget and pipeline management
- Existing relationships or experience working with beauty suppliers strongly preferred.
- Tertiary qualifications in event management, marketing or related field is desired but not essential.
