Myer is looking for a National Education & Development Manager specialising in all things Skincare! This role will be responsible for leading skincare education across Myer by developing and delivering engaging training content, managing an online learning hub, and building strong brand partnerships. The role acts as a key liaison between skincare suppliers, internal stakeholders, and frontline teams to ensure consistency, relevancy, and impact of all skincare-related training. It involves regular travel across the store network to provide in-person training, support team development, and ensure consistent, high-quality service in skincare.
About the Opportunity
- Actively participate in all skincare supplier strategy meetings, to build strong relationships with brand partners and develop a solid understanding of each brand’s product range and key initiatives.
- Develop and deliver engaging educational content, (both in-person and online) to support Beauty team members in delivering exceptional customer service and staying up to date with the latest skincare knowledge.
- Design and manage an online content hub as a go-to resource for training materials, brand information, and learning tools.
- Develop team-member competency assessments to ensure consistent knowledge, confidence, and service standards across all stores.
- Travel regularly across Myer’s store network, visiting each region at least once per season to provide in-person training and support.
About you
- Qualified skin therapist (a minimum Diploma in Beauty Therapy)
- Experience in leading / educating a team of skin therapists in either a national skincare chain or department store environment
- Ability to recognise common skin conditions (eczema, rosacea, dryness etc) and recommend appropriate solutions
- Thorough understanding of aesthetic technologies and services (eg. dermabrasion, LED light therapy, microneedling, chemical peels)
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, confident in presenting to large groups
- Ability to drive strong cross-functional engagement with both internal and external teams.
