Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role will provide efficient support to the business and vendors with the processing of financial documents and investigation and resolution of all Procure to Pay queries in a timely and accurate manner

About the role

  • Processing all payables related documents including fixed deal & cosmetic rebates, expense & capital invoices, overseas & manual merchandise invoices
  • Upload of Journals AP & GL for stores including store accruals
  • Ensure financial processing deadlines are met
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, i.e. all suppliers and vendors, all stores, DC’s and store support office teams
  • Process all RLO expenses and manual merchandise and expense claims
  • Action, escalate and resolve vendor and business queries
  • Administer the corporate credit card function ensuring all documents are maintained and policies are adhered to
  • Support the business with creation of purchase orders, variations, cancellations and goods receipting
  • Minimise the non-compliance to accounting policies & procedures through effective monitoring & education to relevant parties

About you

  • Prior technical knowledge in a similar role is advantageous
  • Preferably have exposure to Netsuite software
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and administration skills
  • Has completed or currently studying towards a finance or purchasing qualification
  • An inclusive team player
  • A strong communicator and collaborator who builds great relationships across the business and outside of the business with each key internal and external stakeholder
  • Experienced in driving continuous improvement in a changing environment is ideal
  • Prior exposure being proactively involved in process improvement
  • Able to plan, manage and prioritise own workload to effectively and consistently deliver on individual and team objectives
  • Manages expectations, communicates clearly and ensures that issues are escalated and managed appropriately
