Myer Group is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide a broad scope of people-focused support and guidance to our state operational retail teams. Reporting directly to the Talent Team Manager – Apparel Brands - Retail, you will partner closely with our talented Just Jeans, Dotti, Portmans, Jacqui E and Jay Jays retail teams across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

About the role:

  • Partnering with our Regional Managers to attract and secure the best talent for all store management positions; Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Stock Management positions
  • Complete the end-to-end recruitment cycle including: identifying vacancies, raising requisitions, advertising, screening, shortlisting and offers 
  • Create a positive candidate and hiring manager experience by identifying key decision factors and by leveraging the Myer Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
  • Candidate and Talent Pool management – maintain talent pipelines for proactively sourcing candidates for key workforce segments and critical roles
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) - PageUp
  • Process internal contract changes
  • HR Administration and providing ad hoc support for the broader Talent Team

About you:

  • Previous experience in HR, recruitment, administration, customer service, or another coordination-based role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A customer-focused approach and genuine interest in supporting employees and leaders
  • The ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Sound judgement when handling confidential information
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (Page Up preferred)
