Reporting into the Merchandise Operations Manager and based at the loading dock, the Team Leader is an integral part within the Logistics team, ensuring a streamlined operational and seamless optimisation of stock flow into the store. You will coach and guide your team with safe and efficient logistics, replenishment and online fulfilment practices.

This role is hands-on and will require you to effectively also assist with unloading and unpacking deliveries, prepare stock for the merchandise team to transfer from dock to floor whilst ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards are met. Furthermore, you will develop and engage with your dedicated team, share retail knowledge and lead by example with exceptional customer service skills, strong organisation and ability to multi-task.

To be considered for this position you will need to be available to work from Monday – Friday, with an 8am start and with occasional Saturdays as we move into our peak seasonal trading period.

Your Background:

  • Supervisory and / or people leadership experience is essential 
  • Demonstrated experience in dock-to-floor logistics, replenishment procedures and exposure to online order fulfilment
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to undertaking and promoting safe work practices 
  • Communication skills along with time management, prioritisation and problem solving skills
  • Passion for customer service and a love of retail!
