Myer Group is looking  for a Property Accounts Administrator to support the Property Accounts Manager in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our Property Accounts.

About the role:

Reporting to the Property Accounts Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Apparel Brands property accounts and ensuring all charges are paid correctly and on time, with a key focus on meeting the company’s payment obligations within the property leasing system in full alignment with the terms of each lease agreement. This position would suit a property accounts administrator with experience in a similar role who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join an iconic Australian company.

What you’ll do

  • New Vendor set-ups  
  • High volume Inbox invoice & document management 
  • Weekly Invoice Excel uploads into Property Management System (Progenesis) 
  • Audited Sales Certificate distribution and certificate management  
  • Check and approve payments on rent reviews, promotion fund reviews and outgoings   
  • Assist property team with any payment queries or issues  
  • Reconciliation of rent accounts  
  • Investigation and reconciliation of Outgoings budgets  
  • Investigation of ad hoc charges  
  • Accurate and timely processing of all queries  
  • Administration of Property related transactions 

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in property accounts / centre management administration would be advantageous but not essential 
  • Strong accounts payable/receivable experience  
  • Problem-solving abilities for resolving landlord queries and discrepancies 
  • Strong analytical ability and critical thinking skills  
  • High level of attention to detail with focus on accuracy and data integrity 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders  
  • Sound organisational skills and ability to work to and meet deadlines  
  • An intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel 
  • Knowledge of Property Management System (Progenesis) and accounting software package (NetSuite) advantageous but not essential
