The Ambassador & Influencer team is seeking an Influencer Specialist who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of influencer campaigns and always-on creator activity across Myer’s brand portfolio. The Influencer Specialist is the primary day-to-day contact for creators and agencies across active campaigns and is responsible for the full lifecycle of influencer activation from briefing and content direction through to performance reporting.
The Influencer Specialist is the operational and creative engine of Myer’s influencer program day to day, building genuine creator relationships that produce authentic, high-quality content and delivering activations that connect Myer’s brand and products with the right audiences at the right moments.
About the role:
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of influencer campaigns tied to category priorities, seasonal moments, product launches and key trading events.
- Develop detailed influencer briefs for each campaign, translating briefs from Category Marketing Managers into clear influencer activation plans defining content requirements, creator roles, platform priorities and publishing timelines.
- Build campaign timelines and production schedules in partnership with the Traffic Manager and Influencer Coordinator, ensuring all influencer deliverables are factored into the content production pipeline with sufficient lead time.
- Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for mid-tier and micro creators and their management agencies across active influencer campaigns and always-on programs.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for campaign creators in partnership with the Influencer Coordinator and Legal & Compliance — including agreement coordination, briefing pack distribution, product gifting and disclosure obligations.
- Coordinate creator gifting, product pull, shoot logistics, event attendance and on-site requirements associated with influencer activations, with logistical support from the Influencer Coordinator.
- Proactively identify and recommend emerging creator talent relevant to Myer’s brand portfolio and campaign priorities, contributing to the ongoing development of the creator ecosystem.
- Oversee the content creation process for all influencer activations from brief to approval.
- Ensure all influencer content integrates with the broader campaign narrative and social calendar, working to align creator publishing schedules with owned channel activity and paid amplification windows.
- Coordinate the repurposing of high-performing influencer content for use across Myer’s owned channels, paid media and retail environments, managing usage rights in partnership with Legal & Compliance.
- Manage Myer’s always-on influencer program across all four brand expressions ensuring consistent creator presence on social platforms between peak campaign windows through gifting, seeding and organic content programs.
- Maintain accurate and current campaign tracking records across all active and completed influencer programs, with support from the Influencer Coordinator.
- Manage the budget for assigned influencer activations tracking creator fees, gifting costs, production expenses and agency fees against agreed budgets and flagging variances to the Ambassador & Influencer Manager promptly.
About you:
- 4–6+ years of experience in influencer marketing, talent management or social media, with demonstrated experience managing influencer programs from brief through to performance reporting.
- Proven track record managing end-to-end influencer activations across campaign and always-on programs, including creator briefing, content review, compliance management and performance measurement.
- Strong existing creator and talent agency relationships within the Australian influencer ecosystem across fashion, beauty, lifestyle and homewares.
- Deep understanding of influencer marketing strategy, creator tiers, platform dynamics and content performance benchmarks across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
- Experience managing always-on influencer programs including gifting, seeding and community creator activation.
- Strong creative eye — able to evaluate influencer content quality, brand alignment and platform effectiveness, and provide constructive direction without compromising creator authenticity.
- Solid understanding of ACCC disclosure requirements, platform branded content policies and influencer agreement structures.
